My name is Gabriella Vianna, I am a professional fencing athlete, Documentary Photographer, and passionate Olympic sports enthusiast. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I am currently pursuing a B.F.A. in Photography with a Minor in Business Management and Entrepreneurship at the Savannah College of Art and Design. (Graduation class of 2026).
My passion for photography grew over the years. After years of competing internationally for fencing, I began documenting elite fencing athletes, which later led me to other sports such as basketball, handball, tennis and softball. In addition to my own projects, I've worked in collaboration with High School and Collegiate teams, both in and out of the studio, varying from media days for social media to on-field photographer during games/tournaments.
Throughout my studies at SCAD, I have refined my skills in processing, printing, and curating images, always striving to push my creative boundaries. My work is driven by a passion for storytelling and documenting sports. Through my lens, I aim to capture the intensity, emotion, and artistry behind high-level competition by turning them into compelling imagery, bringing audiences closer to the raw essence of competition.
