My name is Gabriella Vianna, I am a professional athlete, Documentary Photographer, and passionate sports enthusiast, currently pursuing a B.F.A. in Photography with a Minor in Business Management and Entrepreneurship at the Savannah College of Art and Design. (Graduation class of 2026)
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, I spent years competing professionally for the Brazilian National Fencing Team, an experience that took me around the world and deepened my connection with the sport.
My passion for photography grew over the years, so I began documenting elite fencing athletes, which later led me to other sports such as basketball, handball, tennis and softball. In addition to my own projects, I've worked in collaboration with High School and Collegiate teams, both in and out of the studio, varying from media days for social media to on-field photographer during games/tournaments.
My work is driven by a passion for storytelling and documenting sports. Through my lens, I aim to capture the intensity, emotion, and artistry behind high-level competition by turning them into compelling imagery, bringing audiences closer to the raw essence of competition.
Throughout my studies at SCAD, I have refined my skills in processing, printing, and curating images, always striving to push my creative boundaries.
